The Promise of Purpose

As former editor-in-chief of Lunch Ticket, the literary and art journal published by Antioch University Los Angeles, I was asked to contribute to a special issue celebrating the first 20 years of the MFA program. Published online this fall, the print anthology will come out early 2018. My essay, The Promise of Purpose, reflects on my work and intentions as leader of the journal's staff over three issues, from June 2015 through December 2016.
