writing
I am genre fluid. Primarily I write memoir, essay, and songs that flow between fiction and non-fiction. I have also worked in literary translation, poetry, fiction, and ghostwriting, and served as developmental, copy, and proof editor.
My essays and poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best New Poets and have appeared as the cover story in Lilith Magazine, and in Moment Magazine, Lit Hub, Brevity, Matador Review, The Poet's Billow, Accolades Anthology (Women Who Submit), Under the Gum Tree, Jet Fuel Review, From Sac, Gulf Stream, Role/Reboot, Duotrope, Roland Magazine, Antioch Alumni Magazine, The Review Review, among others.
A particular joy from my editorial life includes the four letters I wrote as Editor-in-Chief of Lunch Ticket (Issue 8, Issue 9, Issue 10, Lunch Ticket Special). Recent work from my pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago continues to shape my current projects.
